The Quran (also spelled as Koran) is the holy book of Islam, regarded as the word of God (Allah) revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) over a period of approximately 23 years through the archangel Gabriel (Jibril). It is considered the final and most complete divine revelation, following previous scriptures such as the Torah (given to Moses) and the Injil (given to Jesus). The Quran serves as a guide for all aspects of life, including law, spirituality, morality, and personal conduct.
