Dr. Abul Fayez Muhammad Khalid Hossain, born on February 2, 1959, in Madarsha Union, Satkania Upazila, Chittagong District, Bangladesh, is a distinguished Islamic scholar, educator, and historian. His father, Muhammad Habibullah, was also an Islamic scholar, which influenced his early education and passion for Islamic studies. Educational Background: Early Education: Khalid Hossain began his education at Babunagar Government Primary School. He later attended Al Jamia Al Islamia Patiya from 1969 to 1971, where he completed his Alim degree. He achieved first class in his Fazil degree at Satkania Mahmudul Uloom Alia Madrasa in 1973. Advanced Studies: He pursued higher studies in Hadith at Chittagong Chandanpura Darul Uloom and obtained his Kamil degree from the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board in 1975. In 1982, he earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Islamic History and Culture from the University of Chittagong, followed by a Master of Arts in the same field in 1983.
